About Lisa:
As a longtime resident of Greenwich Village, Lisa was an early participant in the CBGB/Max's Kansas City/Off-Off Broadway scene and a founding member of New York Rocker magazine. During that time she documented luminaries of the burgeoning punk and new wave movements as both writer and photojournalist. She has since revisited the era in shows and publications in the US and UK. Persky is the subject of Blondie's hit single: “(I'm Always Touched by Your) Presence Dear,” written by Blondie bassist Gary Valentine. For more information visit www.lisajanepersky.com
